[It's a big order that he's taking that requires him to take the Vanquish out for a while, thankfully without his crewmates on board. Not because it's big, with about four large crates in the cargo bay with the other gumball crates, but because it was said to be dangerous. It's in the seedy underbelly of the station, where crime is common and gangs can be seen on the streets like they own the place. And let's face it, the cargo he's carrying probably has weapons of some kind, and while Clay doesn't agree with it, he's also not about to impart his beliefs on a completely foreign station. Plus, it'd pay lots of money. That part's important.

And since it's dangerous, he's not comfortable going alone. And that's why he's brought some protection along in the form of the powerhouse of his boyfriend. He's kind of hoping that his own looks alone will stave off any danger, but well. It's probably not likely.

So as he starts to land the ship, Clay looks back at Allen with a somewhat helpless smile.]

Okay, this is the dangerous part. I've got to take the crates inside, and apparently even stepping out of the ship is asking for trouble.

Which I'm quite impressed, I'm pretty sure the packaging itself is more dangerous than the actual drink. I almost feel I should be scandalised how little toxin is in this bottle, but...it's not part of my job to fret with how people spend their money. :)

Good luck with your sales. Though I'm afraid the only warnings as a medical official I can give is that consuming the glass bottle could cause shredding to your innards, putting the box on your head could blind you, and the tape could close your throat if wrapped around the neck.

[It had been about a couple of weeks since they rented this little cabin, or as Clay likes to think of it, a one-bedroom apartment. Clay's been incredibly content here, enjoying spending so much time with the person he loves most, and while the planet's been making him uncomfortable, it's worth it to share his thoughts and feelings with Allen. Even if it's kind of on a weird level sometimes.

And maybe they've been enjoying just how incredible it is to physically touch each other in this place. Maybe that's why their clothes are all over the floor while they sleep in the bed with nothing but the blanket covering them up. Maybe that's why Clay feels absolutely satisfied when he wakes up first, stretching his limbs out before letting them settle around Allen again, cheek against his jaw, just taking in the warmth that comes from waking up with his boyfriend.

It's one of those mornings where Clay decides to just stay in bed for a little while and wait for Allen to wake up. He takes the time to reflect a bit, thinking about the day, the time he's spent here and out in space, how far they've come, the possible trajectory that they're following... his mind wanders, as it's oft to do when he's got nothing on his schedule at the moment.]

[Now that it's been about a week, Allen's recovered enough to leave the clinic for a while. Leave in a wheelchair, at least, and with Allen's arm still not working properly, Clay decided to leave the wheelchair pushing to him. Allen's been anxious to leave, so they're walking the halls of the Blue Fish, Allen in his chair and Clay pushing it, talking to him, yet also getting lost in his thoughts easily.

He's very happy that Allen's getting better, and way faster than he thought he would. And he's also very happy to be out of the clinic for a while, having been staying there a lot of the time to keep his boyfriend company. But still... there's a lot on his mind, and he still hasn't sorted through it all. And there's the fact that he has to tell Allen sometime, tell him about... what's going on...

They pass by Allen's room, and Clay can't help the smile that comes up as he looks down to talk to him.]

If I could hold you with one arm and climb down the ladder, I'd bring you to your room, but...

[Recovery was never fun. If Allen could move properly, he'd be climbing up the walls of the clinic. It wasn't that he hated the clinic, no he enjoyed working there a lot. But it was a lot different when you couldn't leave it as night. Especially when you were confined to a bed most of the time.

So being allowed to actually be in a wheelchair and get out of the clinic for a bit? Allen jumped at the chance. Especially if it meant spending time with Clay that didn't have other people possibly listening in from just a couple feet away. Sure, he'd like it better if his arm worked well enough so he could push his own wheelchair- but he'll take what he can get.]

Yeah...wouldn't work.

What about the shuttles? They're wheelchair accessible, maybe we could go to the Iskaulit!
