I... think I get it.
[More or less.]
If he's sealed, and this Earl isn't around, is it unlikely that Nea would be dangerous to anyone else, then?
voice;
[Thus why he's telling him all this.]
voice;
You're thinking that the Shepherd's power might be an effective counter for a Noah. Because of the similarities between what we do?
[The Noah are powered by something like malevolence, and the Akuma that Allen and his exorcists fight are similar to hellions, then the power of purification might be the best bet to stop it.]
voice;
I wouldn't ask, but there aren't other Exorcists here.
voice;
[Even if the chance of that is low, back-up plans are important. Especially if this Noah is as dangerous as it sounds. This isn't a pleasant conversation by any means, and he hates that he's all but agreeing to fight a friend if the need arises, but he also knows that he can handle this information much more easily than Sorey.]
I wonder... if a Noah can be purified.
voice;
[The answer comes nearly instantly.]
It's been tried, unfortunately. Mostly, it just makes things worse.
voice;
Allen. The power of purification is not made for killing. Sorey's never used it to take a life before.
[What he's asking, if that's the implication, is huge.]
voice;
Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think you and Sorey have the power to kill a Noah yet even if you did try.
[Would he be against being killed if the worst happened? Of course not. He's made those sorts of pacts before in the past. But he wasn't going to force kids who don't want to kill to kill for his own sake. That'd make him no better than the people who tried to shove it on him]
I'd just need him subdued, or contained somewhere he can't hurt anyone. That's all I'm asking.
voice;
Ah.]
Far from offended... rather, I'm relieved. I'm sorry that I had to ask.
[He's never been shy about letting it be known- Sorey's safety comes first, well above anyone else. Including himself, including the other seraphim, and including the entire fleet. As long as Sorey's purity is unthreatened, he'll do whatever needs to be done.]
You can count on us.
voice;
[Though the not actually wanting to kill him part is a bit weird. But hey, whatever not going to complain.]
Thank you, Mikleo.
I'm sorry I took so long to tell you. I never...ah, know how people will react to it.
voice;
[He's a bit of a hypocrite in that sense, admittedly- he gets annoyed when people aren't up front with him, but he's fine with keeping secrets, himself. He's... working on it. A bit.]
Sorey and I did give you the initial impression that we'd act recklessly when faced with this sort of thing. I wouldn't be surprised if you needed some time to decide how we in particular might respond.
voice;
You two really weren't that bad. I've seen much worse.
voice;
[This has been a bit awkward, yet it too could have been worse.]
voice;
Anyway, is there anything else you wish to ask me?
voice;
Was this just an augment glitch, or is he always dangerous and just hasn't acted before?
voice;
Truthfully?
I don't know. This has been the first time he's attacked people, but I can't say this is the first incident he's been involved in.
voice;
voice;
Well apparently he showed up and tried to lick up the spilled blood of some of the victims. I've never seen Beverly so livid.
voice;
what the fuck]
That's... disturbing.
voice;
I know every other vampire I've met wouldn't be caught dead licking up blood like that. Even the evil ones have some dignity.
[Allen that's not the point here]
voice;
Maybe those... sheol things operate under different social norms.
voice;
It's possible, I suppose. [It can't be seen, but he wrinkles his nose. Gross]
Speaking of that, I analyzed some samples from Sascha. Whatever a Sheol is, I couldn't find any traces of dark energy.
voice;
I wouldn't expect any. That man had zero malevolence both times I saw him in person, and he gave a pretty innocent impression on top of that. I can understand why people wouldn't see this coming.
voice;
[CREEPY. NATURE WHY ARE YOU SO CREEPY]
I hope we never visit that world.
voice;
[What a frightening place, a world where there are people you can't read as good or evil.]
Regardless of that, thank you for understanding.
