Yup! Mostly the boars around where I grew up, but I also hunted some rabbit and a couple deer once. I need more practice with varied animals and I want to try fishing, but it's really nice to catch and cook your own food.

Do you wanna try it out with me?

I've done it a few times before! Though it usually didn't go well...

[Because he's not that good at it. Fighting monsters that were actively trying to get you was pretty different from hunting animals. But he considers. He did want to take Sokka out hunting to cheer him up later, and it would be better if he could make sure not to mess it up for his friend.]

But I guess I could always use the practise, if you don't mind...!

Definitely at least a knife. I'm using a blunted sword- are you any good with ranged weapons? Oh, and some rope.

Ah, don't worry about it then. I've got a bunch of it already, we can share.

Man, this is gonna be great! Real, actual meat. That we can keep for a while! [he hadn't eaten much on the poisoned moon because. it was poisoned. obviously. maybe the food was okay but it tasted...weird. so sorey hasn't had actual meat since the station, which was FOR-EV-ER AGO.]
