[His eyes go back to the room numbers before taking a quick glance at the key. Almost did it again: flirting with Allen so much that he kind of forgets what he's doing.]
4038. So, let's see... 34, 36, 38! There we go!
[He stops at the door, then gives Allen a grin as he unlocks it.]
Ready to see which room we got?
no subject
I sure am.
[Once the door is open and they step inside, the theme is very clear: racing. The floor and walls are painted like a race track, and there's vehicle memorabilia all over the place. The table is made out of tires, the titles in the bathroom look like a checkered race flag- there's even a race car bed. The place is pretty spacious too, built with all the amenities standard with a hotel suite]
[Allen stares for a moment, laughing a little as he speaks] Oh my God.
no subject
He laughs a little at first, and then it turns into his loud, belly-deep laughter, and he ends up bent over with his free hand on his knee. Of all the themes they got for their room, it had to be racing!]
Oh my god, it's -
[Yeah, no, he can't say another word. His laughter's reached that point where words can't even be formed anymore.]
no subject
Ha, I guess....
Vroom vroom?
no subject
Still laughing, though quieter now, he goes to Allen and wraps his arms around him, playfully leaning forward so that Allen has to bend his back a bit, while he brushes their noses together.]
Mmm, turn on the key and start my engine, Allen Wal - [And nope. He just dissolves into giggles again.]
no subject
Oh, fasten your seat belt, alright. [He grabs hold to Clay's sides and lifts him up, twirling him around] We're going for a ride!
no subject
Once Allen's twirling slows down enough, Clay settles his arms around his neck, a big grin on his face as he looks down at him.]
How many laps was that? Three? Four?
no subject
Um- I think three? Maybe. I didn't keep count!
no subject
Does that mean I crossed the finish line? What's my prize?
no subject
Well that depends, what would you like for your prize?
no subject
[He moves his fingers a bit, caressing the base of Allen's head] Someone strong and very handsome, with the light of the stars in his hair and a smile that lights up the whole room. If I could spend the night with a guy like that, that'd be more than enough for me.
no subject
[He grins a little]
Well, I think I could make a few calls and get that for you.
no subject
[With that said, he leans down to kiss Allen on the lips, eyes shutting while he relaxes into his hold. Allen is much, much more than a simple prize, and he wants nothing more than to be with him. Even in this stupid, wonderful room.]
no subject
Eventually the kiss ends. He lowers Clay back down to the ground, and takes a moment to pull off his gloves]
But seriously, this room is ridiculous.
no subject
Right? Like out of everything we could get, everything we talked about, we got racing?
[With the jacket hung up, Clay moves to the bed instead, where he'll flop on his back and look up at the ceiling]
When they said it'd be a random room, I didn't think it'd be this much.
no subject
Well the themes are supposed to be one of the highlights of the resort! I suppose they would go all out.
[He walks over to sit on the edge of the bed]
We should probably be glad we got a theme with a bed. While I was waiting in the lobby, I overheard one customer complaining that their room was nothing but a ballpit.

[He relaxes until he's on his back again, arms spreading to feel the sheets] And they're nice beds, too. Every hotel we go to has nice beds, how come we can't get that kind of quality on our ships?
[Remember that one time he was contemplating stealing a bed the first time they went to a hotel together, he might be thinking about it again. Maybe not this bed specifically, but.]
no subject
[With his boots off, he'll scoot back onto the bed until he's by Clay, lying down on his side next to his boyfriend, his arm propping up his head so he can look at him]
But at least us not having a nice bed gives us a good incentive to go to a hotel. I do love these little getaways of ours.
no subject
Yeah... I do too. I like getting away for a while, leave all the stress behind for a little while. [He moves one arm so that he can caress Allen's cheek and push a lock of hair behind his ear] I like being alone with you.
no subject
Me too. Just the two of us. No distractions, no interruptions.
Well, except for maybe room service later. [His smile turns a bit more into a sly grin] We can order that, right?
no subject
no subject
Fine, fine. Just try not to panic and cover your entire head with the blanket.
no subject
[His expression is playful, and he lets his fingers move from Allen's cheek and ear to his jawline, idly tracing along it]
