I wanted to apologize for what occurred during our last meeting. Dezel warned me that coming back might lead to speaking without thinking things through. Ignorance of context isn't much of an excuse, either.

I think, in the future, we would both benefit if we refrain from judging one another without taking the time to understand our individual situations. That's my assessment.

Even so, I'm sorry.

I'm reaching out to you in part because I'm hoping I can trust to your discretion, and in part because my own ship lacks a medic. I've been encountering some issues since I arrived here that may indicate an imbalance in my mana signature. It's probably nothing to be concerned about, but I'd like to be sure if possible. Do you have access to scanning equipment, as a medic?

That would be fine with me, the Blue Fish clinic is open to any person in the fleet who needs aid. And I can certainly help look into your mana signature to see if it's alright, though I'm not an expert on such matters.

[They'd had a little tiff over what room to get for the first hotel stay, though it was nothing serious, just a normal, small argument between couples. Clay wanted a space room, while Allen wanted a creepy room. When it came down to the wire, though, they decided to compromise and go with a randomly chosen one instead. Who knows what they were going to get?

Clay can't help looking at all the doors as they pass by, counting the numbers until they get to their room.]

Man. I can see why they wouldn't do it, but I kind of wish they'd have some indication as to what kind of theme the room's going to be before you get there. Like, you know, on the door or something.

[Just a couple of days after they arrived, Clay and Allen decided to go out camping to one of the more lush asteroids. The whole concept of life inside asteroids was incredibly fascinating to Clay, so seeing one so full of nature sounded absolutely intriguing. Not only that, but the hotels they looked at were a liiiiittle too pricey.

They rented a couple of ATVs to ride around in to explore the area faster, and Clay loved every moment of it. The speed, the thrill, looking at everything; it served to quell the constant uneasiness of being in a dark, partially lit place. He'd stop to jot down notes, sketch, and take pictures, while Allen would look around and wander, though would always come back to him when he was done.

Now that they're at their destination, a taller bioluminescent tree among others, Clay slows his ATV to a stop, then climbs out while taking a few essentials from the back.]

Wouldn't it be cool to have a grove of these on the Iskaulit? Just have a big dark room specifically for them.

[Allen always enjoyed going trips with Clay through any new systems they encountered. It was a good way to get away from things, relax, see something new, and spend time with his favorite person. And this time was no different. Even if he didn't enjoy the thrill of speed as much as Clay, it was still fun to ride the ATVs and explore the different areas. This place was unlike anything he had seen before, which said a lot, considering his adventures.

He slows his own ATV to a stop as Clay does, turning it off and sliding off the vehicle. He grabs his pack, and slings it over his shoulder]

Mm, it would be. Something about these groves just seem so quiet and peaceful. It's beautiful.
