And remember, the worlds are watching!
The aptly named Blue Planet is covered almost entirely in liquid water. The population of this planet reside on small volcanic islands along the equator. The climate of these islands are tropical and abundant with wildlife. The oceans of this world are also teeming with life. This world would be an idyllic tropical resort world, were it not for the two bands of clouds in the northern and southern hemisphere- which are formed by constant raging winds and typhoons and can lead to sudden, violent storms.

On the Blue Planet, humans and Nunnilis have lived in harmony for generations. The population is friendly, though recent events caused by the Iskaulit incident have lead them to be a bit more wary as to avoid the Nunnilis population from becoming further infected. The population does not take part in universal currency or interstellar trade. Their main resource is algae.
The Iskaulit (translated as "Duchess" in Folkspeak) is a merchant-class vessel built and originally manned by an unknown insectoid race. Roughly ten times the size of a standard Drift Fleet vessel, the Iskaulit was made to accommodate a high number of passengers, shops and supplies. This was presumably for the purpose of long term travel and trade with other planets.

The Original Crew
The original crew of the Iskaulit all seemed to belong to the same insectoid species. First contact has not been made with this race, so information regarding their culture is limited. However the existence of the Iskaulit indicates the species is space-capable and engages in interstellar commerce.

Biologically, this race stands an average of 3 feet tall (.91m) on six legs. They are covered with a fierce-orange exoskeleton that serves as tough natural armor, and notably are capable of emitting a minor disruption field that renders supernatural powers less effective. When three individuals pack themselves together and generate this shield, it can be used to survive in the vacuum of space as a make-shift method of space travel. Their body structure allows them to be capable of jumping much higher than an average human. The primary natural offensive skill seems to be their strong mandibles. Their blood is blue, and they lack a specific heart organ- instead relying on system of internal pumps throughout their bodies to maintain circulation. There is no brain organ, but they have a highly complex neural system.

Culinary wise, due to high levels of toxic heavy metals in their bodies, they are poisonous for humanoids to digest.

Why could eat this face anyway?

The Tragedy of the Iskaulit
In June 2015, the Drift Fleet received a distress signal from the Iskaulit. Attempts to hail the ship was met with silence, but scanners detected many lifeforms still aboard the vessel. When the ship was boarded to investigate the distress signal, the fleet members were attacked by the insectoid race in a mindless fashion. Any attempts to communicate with the insectoid race failed, and many assumed that these creatures had killed the original crew of the vessel.

However, it was eventually discovered that the very same insectoid creatures attacking the fleet members were the original crew. The fleet found evidence of a type of fungi in the ship's air filters as well as attached to the original crew's nervous system. This fungi had eroded and hijacked the crew's nervous systems, making them the mindless drones that the fleet had encountered. Any attempts to cure the crew proved futile, as the fungi had eroded their internal organs far to survive any cleansing attempts.

In the end, the Drift Fleet passengers decided to purge the Iskaulit of the original crew, laying them to rest and clearing the ship of the fungi using fire and the vacuum of space. A memorial was given to the fallen crew, and the ship itself was taken into the Fleet's custody, though there is still discussion as to what the ultimate fate for the Iskaulit shall be.

Abeo, "The Falling Moon, is a populated moon that orbits around the only (albeit lifeless) planet in its system. It's one of three moons that is populated by life in this system.

The People of Abeo
"The people of Abeo are survivors. Stoic and broad-shouldered, they glorify birth and death, the transience of the microcosm versus the eternity of the macrocosm. Their land is cold and hard, and their people end up much the same... though they do know how to enjoy the time that they spend alive. They may not laugh easily, and may seem grey and macabre, but they still understand that life is meant to be enjoyed while it lasts.
Wonderful food and moderate vice. Good place to eat and drink, as well as enjoy some silence and sense. To them, consuming death is holy. Meat is a holy meal.
To glorify oneself, to demand attention, to become distracted by frivolities is unholy. No makeup, adornments, fanciful hairstyles, or colorful clothing allowed."
Accendo, "The Rising Moon, is a populated moon that orbits around the only (albeit lifeless) planet in its system. It's one of three moons that is populated by life in this system.

The People of Accendo
"The people of Accendo are dreamers. Eccentric and blissfully ailing, they glorify the concept of increasing, pushing every limit, becoming more than what you are, and they focus on experience over any sort of substance. Their land is warm and humid, pleasant and abundant. They hardly have to work to feed or clothe themselves, so they don't. They spend their time pushing their bodies and minds to the limit, and don't mind the fact that very few of them live to the age of forty.
Excessive vice and moderate vanity. Good place to get wasted and talk about the universe.
To them, experiencing and celebrating the world and each other is holy.
To harm others and cause death is unholy. So, no fighting, no arguing, and absolutely no meat."
Adsum, "The Standing Moon, is a populated moon that orbits around the only (albeit lifeless) planet in its system. It's one of three moons that is populated by life in this system.

The People of Adsum
"The people of Adsum are individualists. Walking tall and well-spoken, they glorify each person's unique soul, revel in the present, and believe that mankind is its own gift. The mind is the most precious resource there is, and it must be tended and worshiped. Their land is temperate and abundant, so they hardly need to think about it. They're busy encouraging education and expression, striving to achieve the peak of culture.
Wonderful clothing, art, music, education, and moderate food.
To them, unlocking the full potential of each person and and their unique abilities is holy.
To destroy and embarrass oneself, and cloud the mind with intoxicants, is unholy. If you visit, you best be sober and ready to carry on intelligent conversation."

The Enchanted Forest was a tourist attraction in this system. While it was once a popular spot, it has long since declined greatly in visitor numbers. Eventually the maintainers of the resort abandoned the attraction, but left the automated systems running for passing through ships.

The weather in the Enchanted Forest is constantly chilly, with a cloud overcast. The half planet is covered in a deep forest, except for a field for ship landings and the bathhouse. While many say that they hear bird calls coming from the forest, there has yet been any recording of actual fauna residing on the planet. Individuals who are sensitive to the paranormal, or "magic" as some call it, have reported feeling that this location is full of neutral magical energy.

There are three notable characteristics about this location. The first is the unusual radio signals that seem to be coming from the planet. These radio signals regularly causes interference in communications of passing ships. Many ships have reported that this interference seems produce music that they are familiar with, regardless of who listens to it. The exact source and cause of this phenomenon has yet to be discovered.

The second notable characteristic is the advertised Enchanted Forest. Visitors are encouraged (and even feel compelled) to walk a path through the Enchanted forest as a fun activity. There's been reports of visitors having hallucinations of important things to them, attempting to lure them off the path. Stepping off the path seems to cause temporary memory loss and disorientation, before they find their way at the start of the path. If visitors make it to the end of the path, they are rewarded with a prize. These prizes seem to be important small mementos to the visitor, not including weapons. The exact mechanism and explanation of how this forest functions has yet to be discovered

The third and final notable characteristic is the hot springs and bathhouse. This doesn't seem to have any mysterious effects on visitors or passing ships. However, many report it's the highlight of the visit because after being stuck on ships for so long - it just feels good to get clean again.

Due to a terraforming incident in the past, [PLANET]'s climate is in a perpetual state of winter. The planet sustains itself through using surrounding waystations for farming and tallbird ranching; as well as small game and cold-weather fish that's managed to survive in the planet's cold climate. The population who reside on the surface reside primarily in large cities clustered around the warmer areas of the planet. Only one of these cities have a spaceport that is accessible to interstellar travelers.

The people of [PLANET] are human. While less friendly than the folks of [OCTOBER PLANET], they aren't interested in making you into a human battery for their needs and are more than happy to take a visitor's business. They greatly value entertainment and gifts, so this can be a way to warm up to the people. The cities are large urban areas, with a high rate of crime throughout the wealthy and poor districts. While older buildings were built with stone and brick, these days architecture seems to mostly use ice for their material.

Flora of [PLANET] are primarily variants of evergreens that survived the terraforming incident and have since spread throughout the planet. The wildlife are very similar to many arctic animals found on earth: packs of polar bears can be found roaming; fish swim in the frozen rivers; elk and moose are used for various tasks; blue-grey penguins roam the cities like pigeons; and the pet of choice by the people is the arctic fox. However, the tallbird raised in the station seems to remain to be [PLANET]'s main source of meat and animal products. The tallbird is so greatly valued, you can buy any number of souvenirs that center around this proud animal. Tallhead bobbleheads caught the most attention from the fleet, and it now stands as the mascot of the S.S. Bishop.

[PLANET] is a desolate dust-ball in the backwaters of the galaxy. The planet has a highly turbulent atmosphere with a constant thick overcast. There is no natural vegetation or wildlife on [PLANET], making the ground a distinctive gray color and dusty in composition. The only signs of life on the planet are from the small settlements on the surface. The largest of these settlements has the only spaceport on the entire planet. Attempts to terraform [PLANET] into a more habitable planet has proven unsuccessful.

The People of [PLANET]
The population of [PLANET] appeared human, though marked with pale-orange skin and dull gray-blond hair from living on [PLANET] for generations. It is unknown if this appearance change is a simple phenotype mutation, or if the citizens of [PLANET] have fully evolved into their own subspecies of Homo sapiens.

Culturally, the people of [PLANET] are impoverished. Their only cuisines come from synthetic proteins, their buildings are made of mud and stone and their alcohol is reported to "taste of lighter fluid". They do not seem to have any established trade with other planets, and they have severally limited resources. Visits from space vessels and fleets is not a common occurrence for [PLANET], and such occasions are marked with large welcoming festivals. These festivals seem to be oddly death-themed for a welcoming party, with citizens wearing masks or painting their faces to look like skulls. When questioned, the citizens said that it's an ancient tradition that the original meaning has long been lost. During this festival, visitors are gifted with a beautiful, egg-sized, rutilated red stone to take with them.

Look Gifted Stones in the Mouth
After the fleet's departure from [PLANET], many of the fleet fell ill to a mysterious sickness. Oddly those most affected were fleet members with normally very strong immune systems. After several weeks of research, it was discovered the source of the illness were nanobots that came from the red stones given on [PLANET]. These nanobots were designed to attach themselves to the antibodies within an individual and harvest the energy. The energy would then be sent back to [PLANET], where the citizens would live off the life energy harvested from a healthy crew for months. It seems this is how these people have survived living on such a desolate planet for all these years.

Fortunately for the Drift Fleet, a treatment for the nanobots was found and administered among the fleet, ridding themselves of the nanobots. The fate of the people on [PLANET] after losing their new living energy source is unknown. But strangely, no one in the fleet seemed to be in a hurry to go back and find out.
