[He just got back to his ship when he gets this message. It gets a good amount of staring at it because 1) Wow Clay that was fast. He hadn't even had a chance to tell Timcanpy yet, much less actual people. And 2) That...has to be the most passive aggressive congratulatory remark he's ever received in his life. Maybe Clay didn't have great timing, but holy crap Alex.]

No, I wasn't aware he was doing that. I just got back to my ship.

[ Was he going to apologize for Clay? NOPE. Clay was a grown man who can handle his own problems. Just gonna make it clear he wasn't involved.]

Dude, that's totally normal. I pretty much felt like that the whole time I was with Rise, back in Paradisa. Like she was gonna wake up one day and wonder what the hell she was doing with me. But she didn't, and Clay isn't going to either.
